The Foundation "Valori Tattili - San Marino for Art" - was born in San Marino in 2008 thanks to the strong will of the Chairman of Asset Banca, Mr Stefano Ercolani. The aim is exalting Art in all its forms, from painting to carving and photography, paying special attention to some works that distinguish themselves in terms of quality and importance.
The Foundation wants to discuss on, and promote art through exhibitions, publications, lectures, workshops and seminars, meetings and cultural exchanges at an international level. It also carries out research and study activities in the art field and it cooperates with Museums and Institutions.
The target is going thoroughly into the forms of art and into the philosophical debate related to them. The Foundation interprets the will of creating a space Ð for visual, emotional and mental enrichment Ð not only for experts, but also for all those who are in search of cultural spurs. A place free from trends, but witnessing important values.
Though favouring San Marino, the Foundation does not ignore other Italian regions and other Countries in its census of technical, technological and conceptual works. This is done according to strict criteria that take into consideration the novelty of ideas, as well as professional and working skills. From time to time, painting, carving, videos, photography, installations and performances will be showed in specific exhibitions and presented to enhance the cultural development of the territory.
Art is not only an aesthetic process, but also a cognitive one. It is a universal language that can teach the communciation with other people, even when they come from different worlds.
In order to achieve this, the Foundation uses an equipped polyfunctional space inside the building where Asset Banca is located. All the events organised during the year take place here.
From these experiences, we expect to have important cultural, professional and emotional effects on the local social context, as well as new energies and ressources to feed the growing interest towards art.
